Jay is the co-owner and lead wedding planner for The Purple Door Eventz.

Known for being highly-organised, energetic and full of personality – Jay was born to be an Indian event planner. Jay has a strong background in hospitality and event support. Her family had strong ties to the community in the food and music industry and it is from there she found her calling. She has worked on many events of different scopes and started out volunteering in community events. Jay enjoys working with people and checklists – for instance, she loves to create budgets and timelines. In her free time, you can find Jay finding cool new music to jam out to, watching movies or spending time with her beloved dog Luna.

Jay obtained her Wedding Planning Certification from the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada and has been planning weddings since 2015. Jay is passionate about wedding planning – she enjoys all the creative aspects of wedding planning and making things look perfect and pretty.

Manprit is a renowned Indian Wedding Planner and has been published on several Indian wedding media outlets. She is a certified wedding planner through The Wedding Planner Institute of Canada. Manprit started her journey in the wedding industry back in 2014 in Ontario.

Manprit’s outgoing and warm personality combined with resourcefulness inclined her to pursue wedding planning. For Manprit Weddings are her passion and destination weddings are her speciality. She understands weddings are associated with a lot of dreams and expectations. This union is a combination of traditions, family, rituals and celebrations.
